Train The Trainer

This is one of my favorites! In this two day course, I will share many of the practical skills of designing and delivering a training session that aims to help people learn – sound obvious, but so often we think people are empty vessels that we need to fill up with our knowledge. This hasn’t got anything to do with real learning so we start with focus on learners, not on our own expertise.

The aim of this two-day intensive and fun course will be to deliver a short training session that will:

  • Have appropriate aims, objectives and outcomes
  • adhere to, and promote equal opportunities
  • allow for differentiation
  • follow the learning cycle
  • promote participation and trainee motivation
  • have summative and formative assessment
  • have examples of at least four different learning skills/ activities

 

Delegates will give appropriate and encouraging peer to peer feedback on their training session.

Delegates will leave with a plan on how to improve their next training session.
