Managing Change In Teams

Managing Change In Teams

So much training on change management fails to give you a range of practical options of what you can go away and do. In this session we aim to get you, as a manager, ready to positively transition the team through change. We ask: what is your stress response, how does that impact the team, what stages might you go through when you are faced with change, what might be your blind spots?

To understand a little of why people behave the way they do, we work through a diagnostic model to help you understand why people may resist change. We then develop strategies to make change more likely to happen.
We look at adapting your message for different people; people are interested in different outcomes and when people need different things they hear different things.

Plan an initial change conversation with your team and reflect on what people hear and what they ‘hear’ when something is not being communicated verbally.
